Virginia Career Works – Northern Region
Knowledgeable center staff assist employers, job and career seekers, and youth with a comprehensive range of free employment, training, and career development services.
The following services are available to all; Access to computers, phones and internet, Resume writing and Interview preparation workshops, Career coaching, Basic employment assessments, Job lead assistance and more. They also offer employment related webinars and job fairs.
Services are available at three Employment Centers.

Financial Empowerment Center

The Financial Empowerment Center offers two types of services in both English and Spanish at no cost to you. If you prefer a personalized session, consider One-on-One services. If you are interested in a class, Workshops are available. Topics covered include Financial Coaching, Workforce Development, Small Business Consulting, Tax preparation, and Career Training Consulting. All services are available by appointment only. This site is a powerful online job seeker/workforce services system, accessed as a web site on the Internet. The system provides fast access to a complete set of employment tools in one web site.
